cake in a cup

Hey y’all :) today I’m sharing with y’all an awesome recipe which I got from here. It’s for a chocolate cake in a mug. I put the recipe in half as my mug wasn’t very big…..buuut I forgot to also half my cooking time lol….let’s just say you do NOT wanna overbake it!!!IMG_48571

  1. All Purpose Flour –  4 tbsp
  2. Sugar – 3 tbsp
  3. Cocoa Powder  –  2 tbsp
  4. Baking Soda – 1/4 tsp
  5. Milk  –   3 tbsp
  6. Oil   –   2-3 tbsp
  7. Vanilla Extract  –  1/4 tsp (optional)
  8. Chocolate Chips –  1 tsp (i used mini chocolate chips)

“In a microwave sagve mug(12 oz)/remkin, combine all the ingredients in and mix well using a spoon. Top it with some chocolate chips or nuts.
Make sure the batter fills only the half of the mug as the cake will rise while cooking.
Keep the mug with the batter in a microwave.
Microwave in full power for 2 minutes.
Cooking time might vary depending on the microwave, if the center of the cake is not cooked well even after 2 minutes and 30 seconds, microwave for a few more seconds.”

I would suggest to mix up everything first and then put your chocolate chips in and mix it. Also, I put in some extra chocolate chips. :) IMG_4864When my mother is in the kitchen, this is what happens…IMG_4865IMG_48671

And then it’s done!…IMG_48801Of course you need ice cream. ;)
