My boys

So I think I’ve mentioned in several posts about some of the little boys I babysit but I haven’t really talked that much about them (on my blog anyways :P). I’ve been babysitting for 2 years now and love it! I babysit 3 little boys. Ryker, the oldest boy I babysit has now a two month old sister, Sutton. So next summer I’ll babysit her as well.

Meet Ryker:

Ryker was the first one I ever started babysitting. He was 3 months old and now he’s 2  1/2! He’s so big!! :/IMG_9991 He’s hilariously smart and if you ask him how your cooking is he’ll reply with, “Not too bad, not too good; edible!” He use to be reallllyy laid back but after his sister was born he became a little more mischievous. ;) He just now came up to me with this book that he’s constantly asking me to read and he’s like,

“You read this to me?”

Me: “Ryker I’ve read that book over and over, how about you read it to me?”

Him: “How about not.” Then as if to see if he could bribe me he goes, “You’re nice!….”

…..Never a dull moment with him! IMG_1265

Meet Jax:

I started babysitting Jax when he was about 7-8 months old and he just turned 2! IMG_80901He’s the active one around here. He’s very “aggressively cuddly” and loves to ‘jabber’. He can’t really string any sentences together but he’ll find a word that he likes and repeat it for the next half hour! :P He adores my younger-older brother, Cody. He’s the “human trashcan” of the three. He’ll eat basically anything plus finish up the other boys’ snacks if they don’t want it. He loves tractors and cars. IMG_00881

Meet Jake:

I’ve just recently started babysitting Jake, but I’ve known him his whole life because he’s actually my first cousin! :) He turned 1 in February.IMG_5328 His curls are adorable. <3 He’s the quiet one of the bunch, although recently he’s started talking more! Ever since he’s been a baby he’s always sooo serious. He’s loosened up some now but he use to make you work for that smile. ;) He loves to be cuddled and his giggle is absolutely adorable! IMG_9923

I often make my guys “model” for me and they just LOVE it!….Not! :P 15 - 11(L-R: Jax, Me, Ryker, and Jake) 15 - 1(L-R: Cody holding Jax, DeVon holding Jake, Me holding Ryker) Snapshot 1 (7-2-2015 11-45 AM)I’m so thankful for these little fellas ;) <3

Interview: Cece // Designing

Hey y’all! So today I have something different. :) I interviewed the awesome Celia about her newly found designing business! Be sure to go check out her site and blog afterwards!

Hi there!
My name is Celia. I’m 15 years old. I love simplicity, obsessing over my many obsessions, being around awesome people, good music, good food, and good feelings.
I love designing beautiful blogs. I create every design with love and care, making it a perfect place to express yourself. And they are completely free! If you are in need of a design, or just want a single design element, check out my site!
If you want to get to know me further, head over to my blog!

1. What made you decide to start designing?

I started doing blog designs because I really enjoyed designing my own blog, and I was learning about codes and such. I just wanted something to keep my busy when I am bored! XD

2. How old were you when you first started?

I started blogging when I was ten years old, and I opened my design site in May of this year.

3. What would you describe your style as?

Simple, clean, minimal, cute, edgy, modern.

 4. Would you want to do this as a job?

Not really. I this is just something I like doing as a hobby.

5. Who are some of your favorite blog designers?

My favorite blog designer is Nicole Rose Designs. I got my first blog design from her, and her designs are amazing! She has also helped me out with codes, and answered all my blogging questions.

6. How do you design them?

When I design a blog, I first collect some images from Pinterest that have the colors that I am looking for. Then I gather the colors from the pictures, and pick out some fonts that fit the style. Then I begin the design!

7. About how long does an average blog take?

It depends. I can usually get the design it self done in a day, but the emailing back and forth usually takes longer.

Thank you so much Cece!! You have a great talent! Keep it up! If anyone else wants to be interviewed comment below or contact me. Have a great day!

My cousin: Cheyenne

A couple weeks ago or so I took some pictures of my “little” cousin, Cheyenne. :) She’s a great little model but it was so bright that it was hard for her to open her eyes. IMG_9267 IMG_9263But we did manage to get some. :) IMG_9374 IMG_9458 IMG_9399 IMG_9378IMG_9320-2IMG_9296 And some in b&w: IMG_94581 IMG_93991 IMG_93811 She’s so cute! Thanks Cheyenne for letting me take pictures of you! ;)

*Random* but I updated my photography tab so now all kinds of my photography will be on there. :)

Hope y’all have a great day!

Random Haul // UOL #4

Last Monday I went shopping with some of my girl cousins. We went to drop off their sister (there were 4 of us, counting me, the other 3 are sisters) at the airport as she’s a travel nurse and is currently residing in Barrow, Alaska. After that we went shopping. :) First of all we went to Hobby Lobby. I could live in that place. It’s probably my favorite store ever! IMG_94841As you can see I got some random stuff. Oh and I got this plaque:IMG_94761 Ironically, a very annoying thing happened in The Best Place On Earth. IMG_9510 Yeahhh that happened. Don’t ask.

After this heartbreaking incident, (I’m kidding) we went to Ross. Another great store. IMG_94891I got this “to-go” charger which is an amazing device, and this awesome notebook. IMG_94801It was a very fun day and I’m so thankful I have older cousins to do stuff with. ;)

On the not-so-bright side, as I said in the post before this, my grandpa passed away on July 8th. Since 3 of his 5 children don’t live here we had to go through my grandparents stuff right away and clear it all out. It’s really hard/weird seeing the house empty out! My 2 aunts and 1 uncle are going back home today so loose ends are still being tied up. Next week is going to feel really empty with a bunch of my cousins gone and getting back into our ‘routine’ again. Hopefully we’ll be able to go camping or something like that! :)

Wellllllll I should go…….do….something….*posts blog post and goes on Pinterest* haha. ;) I hope you have a great weekend!

Change is something I’ve always had a hard time accepting. When I was younger, I hated when something (even really small) was different. Well as I got older, I realized that change is inevitable. Recently, I’ve experienced the biggest change yet-my grandpa passing away. PicMonkey Collage3 My grandma on that side passed away in 2011 and while that was a huge change, we still had a Daudys to go to. Now, there won’t ever be a Daudys on that side again. Never again will I be able to eat one of my mommy’s church cookies or play dominoes with my daudy. It’s hard to believe that the wheat harvest this past June was the last wheat harvest we’ll ever have with him. We all kinda knew this because we knew he had cancer but it’s still hard to believe. IMG_77011When I was younger, I thought I’d stay like that forever. It seemed like I would NEVER grow up and everything was gonna stay the same. I was so wrong. I know I’m not “grown-up” yet but it seems like every year goes faster then the last one. I often wish that I could go back to the time when I was 8 and my biggest worry was getting out of bed on time for school. But it’s like my best friend said, “You can’t live in the past! You have to move forward. It’s called life.” And I guess she’s right. IMG_025811But you know what’s cool? Even though there is always something changing, there’s One who never will. Hebrews 13:8 says: “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” So even with times constantly changing, loosing loved ones, growing up…etc. We have this promise. Which will NEVER change.

I hope you have a great day and remember to live life to the fullest. ;)
